Those early advocates of the modern hobby produced some great material didn't they? It's also amazing the games that they attempted, given that they were using what we now consider to be slow and tedious rule mechanisms!<br />While I would not used the rules again, like Ian, I still enjoy looking over Quarrie's book. THAT brings back fond memories of my dreaming about playing the kind of large historical games that we are now able to do.
