Peterdohna is finishing

The presence of Napoleon has been noted by the Barclay's staff, and this last General has ordered the retreat in compliance with the Trachenberg Plan. Napoleon hesitates to use his precious heavy cavalry regiments, so the Prussians are allowed to retire under the protection of their artillery and cavalry.

  1. Rafa - it's a great relief that the Emperor has been victorious but is it just possible you have influenced the outcome of the battle?

    Vive le Emperor...

  2. Rafa - glad to hear that the Emperor managed to get himself out of a tight corner (although if I didn't know better I might think you were showing signs of favouritism!).

Although I am a bit biased towards the French, the Trachenberg Plan has been the main cause of the Allied retreat, as in the "real world".
The battle can be considered a draw: St-Cyr was a spent force. Napoleon only could rely on the Young Guard (Lobau's was a very weak Corps), that was arriving very late.
