A scenario for Song of Drums and Shakos

I have been working on my last and 'brilliant' idea about using SDS for a small skirmish previous to the combat of Wethau (and fighting an inopportune flu simultaneously). The s rosters and statisticfor the Austrian and French parties are finished. The French party will be composed from Voltigeurs of a Light Infantry Regiment whereas the Austrians will be rifle and musket armed Jagers. Both parties will be commanded by a leader and a NCO.

French Party 10 men 492 points
- Lieutenant Meunier
Points 82 Quality 3+ Combat 2
Special Rules Elan, Leader, Light, Pistol, Sword
- Sergeant Bauduin
Points 66 Quality 3+ Combat 2
Special Rules Light, Musket, NCO, Sword
- One Light Voligeur (marksman)
Points 50 Quality 4+ Combat 2
Special Rules Elan, Light, Marksman, Musket
- Seven Light Voltigeurs
Points 42 Quality 4+ Combat 2
Special Rules Elan, Light, Musket

Austrian party 11 men 531 points
- Hauptmann Babbel
Points 70 Quality 3+ Combat 2
Special Rules Leader, Light, Pistol, Sword
- Unterjäger Gassinger
Points 66 Quality 3+ Combat 2
Special Rules Light, Musket, NCO, Sword
- One Rifle-armed Jager (marksman)
Points 54 Quality 4+ Combat 2
Special Rules Elan, Light, Marksman, Rifle
- One Rifle-armed Jager
Points 47 Quality 4+ Combat 2
Special Rules Elan, Light, Rifle
- Seven Musket-armed Jagers
Points 42 Quality 4+ Combat 2
Special Rules Elan, Light, Musket

The gametable is shown in the Figure. The grey central square is the legal SDS playing area for 20mm figures: a 90x90 cm. The general description is a wooded zone traversed by the Wethau stream with a bridge carrying the highway. A house protects the bridge.
